Now if you are thinking I am just saying this because I work for the company or sales, then think about it. I just can't stand it when a new "used machine" customer calls me and realizes he has been misinformed, misled or dooped! It happens WAY too often for me to sit back and not say anything. Software & warranties are non-transferable.ĭon't get me wrong, I am all for customers getting a good deal on a machine and other customers being able to sell their machine as used. There is a good chance that the probe Pattern Editor software has never been activated, so that would be good, as otherwise you would have to pay an additional $199.99 for the software to use the probe. So, if it needs the A907, CarveTight Spindle, bits & adapters, heavy duty belts - add about $500 to get you there. Again, the bits & probe shown are for the old QC chuck, not the CarveTight. You can see that it is a Craftsman and that the bits and tools are for the old-style Quick Change Chuck from the photos.Īlthough, I do NOT show any record of it, I cannot verify that the machine has been upgraded with the A907 upgrade (introduced in beginning of 2007 for first of the A model machines - all others came with it), upgraded with the CarveTight Spindle or Heavy Duty Traction Belts. I spoke to this gentleman 2 days ago and it is a Craftsman CompuCarve Version A machine that has "never been used". You must ALWAYS be careful and EDUCATED when buying used.
